Chapter 27 - Recover The Fragment - A Fortnite Story
This is a fan-made Fortnite Battle Royale story in which I do not own any of the characters or anything used in the story. This is Chapter 27 of that story and will introduce Sky Stalker... Enjoy!

Recover The Fragment
Setting: Shifty Shafts | After dark
All 6 members of the Elite Civility Force were gathered behind the wall that marked the edge of Shifty Shafts. On the other side of the wall, and across the street is the house that is holding a fragment from the meteor that Circuit Breaker and Cipher had previously stolen. Their job, retrieve it and return it to safe hands.
"Testing, testing," Raptor said through all of their headsets/earpieces.
"I got you, Raptor," Havoc said into his earpiece.
"Loud and clear," Subcommander said into his headset.
"Me too," Elite Agent responded.
"Same here," Trailblazer answered.
"Yup," Squad Leader replied.
"All good here," Battlehawk reciprocated.
"All set, move into position when ready," Raptor answered. Elite Agent took Havoc and Subcommander and moved to the back of the house. Trailblazer and Battlehawk followed Squad Leader to the front. "Remember, Squad Leader upstairs and Elite Agent downstairs. Get the meteor fragment and get out, if you can, detain Cipher and Circuit Breaker," Raptor said.
"Group 2 in position," Squad Leader said into his earpiece.
"3, 2, 1... Now!" Elite Agent yelled as both groups simultaneously broke down both the front and back door. "Clear!" She yelled.
"Clear! Moving downstairs!" Squad Leader said as he went downstairs followed by Battlehawk and Trailblazer.
"Kitchen's clear! Going upstairs!" Elite Agent yelled down to them.
The sound of a trap went off, followed by a painful shriek from Battlehawk. Cipher jumped out from behind the couch and shot a shotgun shot at Trailblazer's head knocking her down as well. "Fragment's down here!" Squad Leader yelled as he ducked up the steps. Elite Agent, Havoc, and Subcommander pulled out their shotguns and moved downstairs. Elite Agent signaled a countdown from 3 and all 4 of them burst into the room and fired shots at Cipher and Circuit Breaker, knocking them before they even had a chance to shoot.
"The meteor fragment has been recovered and Cipher and Circuit Breaker have been detained," Elite Agent said, "I'll send Havoc and Subcommander over with the meteor fragment so you all can do your testing and research."
In between Tilted Towers and Dusty Divot
A mysterious shadow was looking down on Havoc and Subcommander carrying the meteor fragment over to John Wick's mansion for Raptor to do his research. A grenade hit the ground in front of Havoc and Subcommander and green smoke flew out of the grenade. Havoc coughed a few times and said, "Leave it! Run!" They dropped the meteor fragment and split up, stink grenades following them.
Subcommander said into his headset, "Elite Agent! Raptor! The meteor has been stolen by someone! We don't know who, he or she was throwing grenades that let off a poisonous smoke."
"We're on our way," Elite Agent said.
"In the meantime, I'll try to fabricate my own poison smoke bomb," Raptor said.
"Hahahaha, now that they're gone, the meteor fragment is mine!" Sky Stalker said as he descended the Salty Springs mountain. He picked up the meteor and carried it north.
Moments later
"Where do you think they went?" Trailblazer asked.
"Well, I don't see any signs of which way this person went," Battlehawk said.
"There's a couple foot-prints over here!" Squad Leader called out, "They're heading north."
"Then let's follow them, Havoc and Subcommander went to John Wick's mansion to make sure they're ok," Elite Agent said. It had rained during the day, so a majority of the island was muddy. They followed the footprints up to the river until the footprints seemingly stopped.
"There's no more," Squad Leader stated.
"There is no way he could have just stopped," Trailblazer said.
"Unless it's a trap," Battlehawk responded.
"I highly doubt that. Come on, let's keep searching, there must be more footprints somewhere," Elite Agent answered.
A few minutes later, Battlehawk pointed out more footprints on the hill, "Hey! I found some, come on!" He said. They followed them all the way to the Junk Junction entrance.
"He's got to be in here. Everyone on high alert. Battlehawk, you're with me, we'll search the main building, Trailblazer and Squad Leader search the rest of the area. After the building is clear we'll join you," Elite Agent commanded. Elite Agent and Battlehawk moved to the door of the building. Battlehawk broke it open and Elite Agent led the way in, "E.C.F.! Put your hands in the air!'
Sky Stalker froze and put his hands up. They arrested him and brought him back to John Wick's mansion for interrogation, except they waited to interrogate him and put him in a holding cell.

Sort of a boring ending I know, but don't worry, Chapter 28 will begin right where this one ended, so stay tuned.

Q: When is Season 5 beginning?
A: Currently, the plan is Chapter 33 as the start of Season 5.
Q: How come you're writing about Season 4?
A: I started this 1 month after Season 7 started and I didn't just want to start in Season 7, so I started in Season 1 and am trying to catch up to the current Fortnite storyline.
Q: Food Fight chapter?
A: It's coming, I'm just not positive as to when.
Q: What about Zoey and Teknique?
A: Zoey will probably be in Chapter 30, I'm not positive. I think I'm going to leave out Teknique.
Q: What skins make it in and which don't?
A: Hardly any uncommon skins are in the story. Some rare skins make it. Most epic skins are added. Almost if not every legendary skin is in the story.
Q: Movie aspect of Season 4?
A: The movie aspect of Season 4 makes it confusing, so I am leaving it out.
Q: Is Brite Gunner good or evil, it's my favorite skin.
A: It's complicated, but in a way, he could be considered evil. He appears in chapters 16-18, and 20.
Q: How many chapters are you planning to write?
A: Right now only up to Chapter 33 is "planned," but as long as Epic Games keeps having new seasons, I don't see a reason to stop writing. I tend to plan it season by season, so once I finish Season 4, I'll plan out Season 5, which should take me past Chapter 45.
