The TVR Griffith Makes Its Video Game Debut In The Crew 2 Tomorrow

Image
The Crew 2's October Vehicle drop is coming tomorrow, October 31st for Season Pass owners and November 7th for everyone else. With it comes the 2002 Nissan Skyline R34 as a Drift Edition, but the main vehicle is the 2017 TVR Griffith. The TVR Griffith is the first car produced by the British manufacturer since 2004 and contains 500 horsepower. The reason why this is so special is because this is the TVR Griffith's video game debut. We all know the 2002 Skyline R34 inside-out because it is already in the game, but it is earning a Drift Edition. As said above, Season Pass owners are given access to these cars tomorrow, while everyone else has to wait until November 7th. The Crew 2: Review

Image
The Crew 2 is a game developed by Ivory Tower and published by Ubisoft, and is a successor to The Crew. The Crew 2 Gold Edition was released on June 26th, and the Standard Edition on the 29th. Players of The Crew thought that the game would move on from the United States for the second title in the series, but it turns out that The Crew 2 kept the same general map, but improved the physics and graphics. While that might have turned away a number of fans, the amount of new features kept them playing. The Crew: Wild Run Expansion brought monster trucks and drag racing, and they were added into the base game of The Crew 2. The main new feature is the addition of planes and boats, which made the game feel different compared to other generic racing games.            This review is broken up into different sections. The Map            While the map is similar to the first game, it is ...

The Crew 2 Open Beta

Image
The Crew 2 (TC2) ran a closed beta earlier this month, so many people got their first impressions of the game. However, many people did not get the invite to play, including me. But, TC2 is holding an open beta running from June 21st - June 25th. 4 days later, the game is releasing. (The Crew 2 - Gold Edition releases June 26th).            The open beta is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. (Make sure you sign up ) Tomorrow afternoon/night, I will be creating a post on my first impressions of the game, once I get the chance to. Until then, check out my TC2 vs. Forza Horizon 4 article  and my thoughts on TC2 . Did you get to play the closed beta for The Crew 2? What were your impressions of it?

The Crew 2 vs Forza Horizon 4

Image
There are 2 major racing games being released in 2018.  Those 2 games are obviously The Crew 2 (TC2) and Forza Horizon 4 (FH4).             TC2 is set to be released on June 29th, 2018. TC2 is a follow-up to The Crew, which released in 2014. The Crew really let people down with it's poor quality graphics and bad handling for cars. TC2 fixes all of the issues with the previous game and also adds the ability to switch between car, boat, and plane. TC2 uses a more detailed map of The Crew, one of the few things that the game had going for it. The map is a condensed version of the United States, including major cities, such as Chicago, Los Angeles, and Miami. The addition of boats and planes is very original, as no other racing game centered around cars has this. TC2 has a lot of hype centered around it, let's all just hope it lives up to it.           The 2 games are also similar. Prog...
