Chapter 17 - Not a Galaxy - A Fortnite Story
This is a fan-made Fortnite Battle Royale story in which I do not own any of the characters or anything used in the story. This is Chapter 17 and will introduce the meteor and both the Dark Voyager and Dark Vanguard skins.

Not A Galaxy
Setting: Season 3 | Dusty Depot
It had been about a week since the incident with Brite Bomber, Raptor, and Brite Gunner. Brite Bomber and Raptor were sitting in the communication center, talking, when the breach alert went off. "There's a breach opening... right in front of us...," Raptor said nervously.
The breach opened and two people in black and orange space suits stepped through, "Don't shoot! We come in peace," the male one said, "Raptor, Brite Bomber, nice to meet you. I am Dark Voyager, and this is Dark Vanguard. We are from the future to warn you. You probably have a lot of questions, but please save them. Brite Bomber, eight days ago you pointed out the distant galaxy in the night sky to Sparkle Specialist. We are here to warn you because that is not a galaxy. It's a meteor, and it's going to strike the Battle Royale Island on May 1st. Now, ask your questions."
"How do you know our names? Or about what happened 8 days ago?" Brite Bomber asked.
"Like he said, we are from the future," Dark Vanguard responded, "That is all we can tell you for now, but we must go before we alter the timeline too much. Goodbye."
"Wait!" Raptor yelled as they stepped through the breach, but it was too late.
"Raptor, a meteor is going to strike the island! We have to do something!" Brite Bomber was freaking out.
"Relax! It'll be alright. We'll go in a bunker with everyone we care about the night before it happens," Raptor said reassuringly.
"But what about everyone else, Raptor?" Brite Bomber asked.
"There's nothing we can do," Raptor responded.
"There has to be something," Brite Bomber said.
"There isn't anything," Raptor answered.
"I love you, but I can't be around you right now," Brite Bomber responded and walked away.
"You... love me? We were even dating? What?" Raptor was extremely confused, but Brite Bomber kept walking.
About 5 minutes later, Cuddle Team Leader walked in, "Raptor what's wrong?" she asked.
"Nothing, just very confused," Raptor responded.
"About what?" Cuddle Team Leader asked. Raptor explained it all to her. "Oh, I mean it's good that she doesn't hate you after that," She said reassuringly.
"Yeah, but I didn't think she would go as far as loving me," Raptor said emphasizing the word "loving."
"You're right. Do you want me to talk to her?" Cuddle Team Leader asked.
"No, we're going to Durrr Burger tonight. I'll ask her then," Raptor said. Cuddle Team Leader nodded and left.
That night at Durrr Burger (Greasy Grove)
Brite Bomber and Raptor had just sat down to eat when someone walked in. "So, we need to talk about ear..." Raptor began.
"Get out of here now!" Brite Bomber cut him off and shoved him out of his seat. It was Brite Gunner.
"Hey you, how are things?" Brite Gunner said as he walked over to her. He didn't see Raptor enter the bathroom to hide.
"I told you, I never wanted to talk to you again, now please leave me alone," Brite Bomber said without looking up.
"Are you binge eating because you miss us? Or is this a date and he left you? Or is this for me?" Brite Gunner asked.
"Get out now!" Brite Bomber said.
"Oh, this has to be for me. You know I love the Triple Durrr with a side of Frrries," Brite Gunner said as he took a bite from Raptor's burger.
"Just leave me alone," Brite Bomber said. Brite Gunner looked towards the bathroom and saw Raptor peeking through a crack in the door.
"Hey, little buddy. Why don't you come on out?" Brite Gunner said, pointing towards Raptor. Raptor opened the door cautiously and stepped out. "Oh, it's you," Brite Gunner said. He turned towards Brite Bomber and said, "So this is a date."
"C'mon man, just leave us alone, we're just trying to have a fun night," Raptor said.
"Oh, I'll leave you alone, in your grave!" Brite Gunner said as he pulled out a tactical shotgun and pointed it at Raptor. Raptor jumped back and pulled out his own tactical shotgun and aimed it back at him.
"Oh, you came prepared this time, that'll make it interesting," Brite Gunner said.
Havoc burst through the door with a scar in his hand and yelled, "Get on the ground Brite Gunner! You're under arrest! Put the gun down or I will shoot you!"
"Ok which one of you called him in," Brite Gunner said as he turned around. Brite Gunner was facing Havoc now. Yuletide Ranger sprung out of his seat and tackled Brite Gunner to the ground. "Ow, get off of me!" Brite Gunner yelled. Havoc ran up to him, took the shotgun, and put Brite Gunner in handcuffs.
"I already called Renegade Raider," Yuletide Ranger said, getting off of Brite Gunner.
"Thanks, but the situation was already handled," Havoc said.
"Thank you, Havoc!" Brite Bomber said as she left Durrr Burger with Raptor. She turned to Raptor and said, "Will we ever have a normal date?"
"At this point, I doubt it," Raptor responded and Brite Bomber laughed.
"How do you know our names? Or about what happened 8 days ago?" Brite Bomber asked.
"Like he said, we are from the future," Dark Vanguard responded, "That is all we can tell you for now, but we must go before we alter the timeline too much. Goodbye."

I wanted to have Dark Voyager and Dark Vanguard be mysterious, so let me know how I did.

A: I was thinking 19 or 20 because I have Chapter 18 already planned.

A: I try to post every 2 days, but sometimes I get busy, so, for the most part, every 2 or 3 days.

A: I've been trying to do that in the more recent chapters.
Q: What happens when you catch up to where Fortnite is currently?
A: I'm probably going to post the same frequency as I am now, but they'll probably be more detailed and less eventful, but I might not and turn it down to one post a week.

A: Chapter 20 or 21.
Q: What happened to the Ginger Gunners?
A: Black Knight used the Spell Stone to make there only be one, even though they were all dead, so there is one Ginger Gunner now, and she's out there somewhere. I'll put her in soon.
