Forza Horizon 4 Spring Stream Recap

          The 4th and final Forza Horizon 4 Mixer stream showcasing each of the 4 seasons has been completed a few hours ago. If you were unable to make it to the stream, then you're in luck, because we are recapping it right here. If you missed the other streams you can check out the Summer, Autumn, and Winter Stream Recaps that we have previously done. With that out of the way, let's jump in and see what was showcased during the Spring Stream.

          A secret "car" that may surprise players is being added to Forza Horizon 4 and we caught a glimpse of an AI car driving around in it. That "car" is the Mercedes Racing Truck.

          This vehicle has appeared in previous Forza Motorsport games, but is making its debut in the Horizon series in Forza Horizon 4. In case you were wondering, it looks like this: 

          This is not the only racing truck in Forza Horizon 4, the other is the Volvo Iron Knight

          One improvement coming to Forza Horizon 4 is being able to clearly tell which trees can be knocked over, and which can't. In Forza Horizon 3, some unbreakable, thinner trees were smaller than easily breakable ones.

          The next thing was the airfield. The airfield in Forza Horizon 4 is abandoned, unlike previous games. With that comes jumps and circles for donuts, and of course, the runway.

          There were a few other unique cars spotted throughout the stream and they include:

          Moving on to the racing, we got to take a look at Team Adventure. Team Adventure is a best of 5 gamemode where the players, split into 2 teams, compete in races, and playground games. We also got to see a new type of event, titled Freeroam Rush. Freeroam Rush is a point to point race with no checkpoints. Survival is another new game added into Forza Horizon 4. One team is all infected and the other players are the survivors. The game is basically freeze tag, but without the freezing, if a player who is "sick" is tagged by a survivor, they turn back into a survivor. Leagues are a little confusing, but the only important part is that you'll be playing with players evenly matched with you.

          Finally, they went up north to the Scottish capital, Edinburgh. Here's how they showed us:

          We got to see one of the player businesses inside of Edinburgh, titled "World's Fastest Rentals." For the player businesses, once you earn a certain amount of money, you have to buy a business. This particular business is an exotic car rental service. Once you fill up the place with some rental cars, you will earn money upon each login to the game.

          While Spring, Summer, and Autumn are fairly similar, Spring is a little special. On the mountain tops, there will still be some snow present. Days in the Summer will be longer than days in the Winter, another way to make the game feel more realistic.

          Finally, we got to see a Super Wheelspin. Basically, there are 3 slots in this wheelspin, and you win prizes from each slot. From this particular Super Wheelspin, they made 820,000 credits. Super Wheelspins are going to be a great way to pull in a lot of money.
