An In Depth Look At The Forza Horizon 4 Map

         Yesterday was the Autumn Stream for Forza Horizon 4, and that showcased a lot of information about the game. We already wrote an article recapping the stream, but now we are going to go into the map with a bit more detail.

         Above is an image of a map stitch done by masterzh on Reddit. If we look at this map we can see that their are 4 showcase events scattered across the map. In the top left we can see a showcase racing a train and another in which we race the hovercraft. Just to the east of the lower part of the lake we can see the third showcase, racing motorcycles. And last but not least, on the beach, we can see that we will be racing the Halo Pelican. Each season will change the showcases as well, meaning that each season, you will most likely be using a different car. In a way, there are 16 showcases.

         The Goliath Circuit made its debut in Forza Horizon 3, and it was a major success. For Forza Horizon 4, there are 5 endurance races. These 5 are The Colossus, The Goliath, The Titan, The Marathon, and The Gauntlet. We don't know what the routes for these races are at the moment, but we might find out in the Winter or Spring Streams. 

         Moving on, we also have 5 confirmed drag racing spots. On the map, there are only 4, but the lake will have a fifth in Winter when it freezes over. The other 4 are on the beach, the highway, the abandoned airport, and the Horizon Festival.

         There are also a few places on the map that are unknown, although they may be the jobs that were hinted at during E3. These are a lion and a rev counter in Edinburgh, an Xbox controller at the Festival and a racing helmet in the Southern part of the map. 

         If you look near the beach, you can see a road shaped very similar to the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit.
