Chapter 5 - Red Knight vs. Love Ranger - A Fortnite Story

This is a fan-made Fortnite Battle Royale story in which I do not own any of the characters or anything used in the story. This is Chapter 5 of that story. I went back to the way I did dialogue in every other chapter. Hope you enjoy!

Red Knight vs. Love Ranger

Setting: Mid-Season 2 | Most of the Northeast quarter of the map

          Both sides were preparing for a massive fight to the death. For Red Knight's side, Power Chord was leading 50 Ghoul Troopers south to wreak havoc on Retail Row, Wukong and 50 Crackshots were going to do the same to Tomato Town, and Red Knight was taking 200 Battle Hounds and 10 Rexes straight towards Dusty Depot. As for Love Ranger's side, he was taking 25 Ginger Gunners and 150 Merry Marauders right towards Red Knight, 20 Skull Troopers would head towards Tomato Town, and 150 MMs and Funk Ops were going to fight in Retail. Along with that, LR would send 25 Scorpions through a breach that would open in Wailing Woods to take out the enemy from behind.

          "Alright let's move!" RK called out to her army. RK turned and started running towards Dusty Depot taking the BHs and Rexes just past the shipping depot before seeing LR with his army already having defenses set up in the field. RK wielded a dark red sword that matched the red on her suit, while LR had a bow and daggers.  "CHARGE!" RK yelled at the top of her lungs, followed by a symphony of howls and a stampede of 200 BHs rushing towards the turreted defense line that LR built up.

          The breach in Wailing Woods had opened and the Scorpions stepped through. They split into 12 and 13, one group following Wukong and the Crackshots, the other following PC and the GTs. 

          RK opened a breach and moved behind LRs defenses and took out nearly half of the GGs before she was noticed by LR. LR pulled a sword out of a breach and swung at her, which she blocked and held in place, "These aren't your people, you can't hurt them," LR said angrily.

          "We're all... just... pawns," RK responded, obviously using all of her strength to hold the block. She broke the block and dropped back. The turrets were starting to overheat and the BHs and Rexes were getting close to their defenses. 

          Wukong was nearing Tomato Town when one of the Crackshots pointed out the 12 Scorpions following. Both sides opened fire leaving 15 Crackshots and the 12 Scorpions dead. Wukong continued on this time with only 35 Crackshots. By this point, the STs were already in position hiding in the shipping containers and behind walls. Wukong crept up slowly and sliced his sword through the side of one of the shipping containers, taking out 5 STs. The rest of the STs jumped out and opened fire on the Crackshots and Wukong. The STs had much better aim than the Crackshots, killing them all while only losing 7 more STs. Wukong teleported away. The Green Skull Trooper sent the green light back to the Raptors at Dusty Depot telling them Tomato Town was safe and protected.

          The BHs had broken through the defenses and were now trampling the MMs. The turrets had all overheated and all the GGs except for a few were dead. Raptor sent the STs a message telling them to get to LR as fast as possible. 

          PC was confused when she arrived in Retail Row with her 50 GTs and it was completely empty. Usually, Retail Row is bustling with people shopping. PC let her guard down when she reached the center of the town. She had the 50 GTs huddled around her and said: "Alright its empty let's go help RK." The Ghoul Troopers agreed when a boogie bomb landed right on them and they all screamed. The 150 MMs popped up from all angles and started spraying them down. The GTs and PC began to cry through their screaming as they were completely helpless and the ones around them were shot down. The 13 Scorpions following them turned and headed towards LR. PC and the 50 GTs laid dead in the center of Retail Row as the 150 MMs and Funk Ops emptied out and went towards Dusty Depot.

          RK and LR were engaged in an intense fight with neither getting the upper hand. Simultaneously, the STs, Scorpions, and FO and the MMs came into the field and easily took out the rest of the BHs and Rexes. RK saw this and teleported herself out of the fight. "I'd consider that a win," FO said smugly. 

          "Not really, she's still out there," LR said, almost in a sad way.

          "And so is Wukong," the Purple Skull Trooper added.

          "PC is dead and so are the rest of them, so 1 out of 3 ain't bad," FO rebutted. 

In Black Knights Castle

          "You absolute peasants!" Black Knight's voice boomed. Wukong and RK stood in his throne room terrified after running. 

          "I could barely handle LR how did you expect me to take out all of them too," RK said nervously.

          "You could've come up with a better battle plan," Wukong said quietly.

          "And you, fleeing a battle!" BK's voice rumbled.

          "It was 8 STs against me! How was I supposed to fight that?" Wukong becoming extremely defensive."

          "Teleport, stab, teleport, stab, teleport, stab..." RK said sarcastically.

          "Get out of my throne room! Both of you!" BK boomed.

Back at Dusty Depot

          "Now what do we do?" the PST asked.

          "Repair what's been damaged and move on with our lives," LR responded. And with that, LR and his army saved the Battle Royale Island, for now.
