Chapter 21 - The First Superheroes - A Fortnite Story

This is a fan-made Fortnite Battle Royale story in which I do not own any of the characters or anything used in the story. This is Chapter 21 of that story and it will introduce multiple characters.

The First Superheroes

Setting: Meteor Fragment strike near the racetrack | Early Season 3

          Elite Agent and Trailblazer were stationed at this meteor fragment to make sure it wasn't stolen like the one near Fatal Fields, which they were yet to retrieve. Elite Agent was doing her shift while Trailblazer rested. She noticed a blue glow coming from behind her when she turned to see the meteor fragment glowing and beginning to crack. She hastily ran over to wake up Trailblazer, who was already waking up, "Trailblazer, wake up! We have a... situation."

          "I see it!" she responded. They both grabbed their scars and ran out of the tent and aimed it at the glowing rock. The rock began to shake and crack as the glow became brighter. There was a bright flash, followed by a man standing where the rock once was. Both girls aimed the scars at the man.

          "Don't shoot! Don't shoot! I don't want to hurt you!" The man yelled, waving his hands in the air.

          "Who are you?" Elite Agent responded in an urgent tone, taking a step forward.

          The smoke cleared and the man took a step forward, "I, am Carbide," he said.

          "Why are you here?" Trailblazer asked.

          "I was sent here to stop a villain, Omega, who was also part of the meteor shower. But I need to stop him before he destroys this island and kills everyone on it," Carbide responded.

          "Who's this Omega?" Elite Agent asked.

          "Take me, make my suit black and red, and make me evil, and you have Omega," Carbide answered. 

          "Hey, we have reports of similar phenomenon happening around the island at these meteors," Raptor said through the Trailblazer's headset.

          "Was anyone else sent to help you, by chance?" Trailblazer asked.

          "Why? Are there reports of similar things happening? What color glows?" Carbide asked eagerly.

          "What colors, Raptor?" Trailblazer asked.

          Through the headset, which Trailblazer had handed to Carbide, Raptor said, "The one in the prison is red, so is the one by Junk Junction, the one in Tilted Towers is tan, and Pleasant Park is yellow, and Risky Reels is also tan."

          "Omega is in the prison or by Junk Junction. The other is Valor. Pleasant Park is Steelsight. The other two are Ventura and Venturion. Everyone is on my side, except Omega," Carbide said.

          "Where should we check for Omega?" Trailblazer asked.

          "Junk Junction, definitely, it's off the grid, so it's perfect to set up a villain base," Elite Agent said.

          "Ok, let's head there then. You lead the way," Carbide responded.

Meteor fragment near Junk Junction

          "The meteor's been glowing red for a while now," Havoc said as Carbide, Elite Agent, and Trailblazer inspected it. The meteor began to shake, and they all prepared to fire. The fragment did the same thing as the one Carbide was encased in.

          "Wait, I'm not here to hurt anyone!" A female voice said from the smoke.

          "Oh no, that means..." Elite Agent trailed off.

          "That's how Circuit Breaker got out. Omega aimed his fragment at the prison, causing chaos and taking the focus away from him," Trailblazer said.

          "This is not good! We need to get there now! Valor, come on, we need to get to the prison and stop Omega before we lose him! Elite Agent, tell Raptor to tell whoever's guarding the rest of the meteors to not shoot, they're on our side!" Carbide yelled as he began to run.

          "Wait! Carbide?" Valor asked.

          "Yes Valor, it's me. Now come on!" Carbide yelled. Valor sighed and followed.

A: I am leaning towards good but am still undecided

Q: Who is in the Elite Civility Force at the moment?

A: Currently, there are 6 members. Havoc, Subcommander, Elite Agent, Trailblazer, Squad Leader, and Battlehawk. More will come.

Q: Who will be the next Elite Civility Force members?

A: Next will Sledgehammer from the Season 5 Battle Pass, then Warpaint, but that won't be for a while.

Q: How will you introduce the Galaxy skin?

A: Sometime during Season 6, I will have an "Exclusives Special" which will feature the Double Helix (Nintendo Switch), Eon (Xbox One), Royale Bomber (Playstation 4), and Galaxy (Galaxy Note 9) skins. Expect it for Chapter 50?

Q: What are you going to do about it being all a movie and them all being friends?
A: The plan was just to skip over all of it because it would make it too complicated, so sorry if you wanted that.

Q: How long are these chapters?
A: On Google Docs, they are all generally between 1 page to 1.5 pages.
