Chapter 11 - Former Enemy Turned Friend - A Fortnite Story

This is a fan-made Fortnite Battle Royale story in which I do not own any of the characters or anything used in the story. This is Chapter 11 of that story and it will introduce Lucky Landing, which was added in Version 3.1.0. Enjoy!

Former Enemy Turned Friend

Setting: Early Season 3 | Fatal Fields

          "Did you hear that?" Skull Trooper asked.

          "Hear what?" Red Nosed Raider responded with a question.

          "It sounded like a breach, like a big breach," Skull Trooper said nervously.

          "Where did it sound like it came from?" Red Nosed Raider asked.

          "South, you wanna go check it out?" Skull Trooper asked.

          "Yeah sure, but we should bring guns just to be safe," Red Nosed Raider said. They grabbed their assault rifles and headed out. "We should report this to Raptor," Red Nosed Raider said. 

          "Fine," Skull Trooper put the microphone on his headset closer to his mouth and said, "Raptor, there was a large breach that opened South of Fatal Fields. Red Nosed Raider and I are going to check it out, but you should send the Elite Civility Force to make sure."

          "Thank you Skull Trooper, it has already been reported and Subcommander and Havoc are already on their way from Pleasant Park," Raptor answered.

          "Alright, let's go check it out!" Red Nosed Raider said.

Lucky Landing

          "What is this place?" Skull Trooper said.

          "It looks like something from Asia," Red Nosed Raider said. They were moving towards the large pink tree in the center of the town when a bullet flew past Skull Trooper's head.
          "Woah! We need to get out of here, we'll let the E.C.F. worry about it," Skull Trooper freaked out. They turned and started running back towards the entrance.
          Just then, Wukong landed directly in front of them, stopping them in their tracks, "Oh you're going nowhere," Wukong said. Skull Trooper and Red Nosed Raider tried to turn around and run the opposite direction, but two people equipped with weapons aimed at them.
          "Wukong, we know who you are, but who are they?" Skull Trooper said turning around.
          "The one with the assault rifle is Scarlet Defender and the one with the hunting rifle is Crimson Scout," Wukong said, "Look, I don't want to hurt you. I know Love Ranger was kidnapped by Black Knight, and I want to help get him back."
          "What's a hunting rifle? And why should we trust you?" Red Nosed Raider questioned.
          "Ok a hunting rifle, Crimson Scout hand me it," Crimson Scout handed it over to Wukong, "Uses heavy bullets, similar to the sniper rifles you have here, but has no scope and was created by me as a medium to long range weapon. And that Spell Stone that Black Knight has, he used that to mind control Power Chord and I, except well, you know what happened to Power Chord," Wukong said. 
          "But what about Red Knight?" Skull Trooper asked.
          "She's married to Black Knight, but he let me go after our attack failed. I can give you more information later," Wukong said.
          "Alright let's get back to Dusty Depot," Skull Trooper said. The five of them began the walk back to Dusty Depot.
In Between Fatal Fields and Salty Springs
          The five of them had just walked past Fatal Fields and they ran into Subcommander and Havoc. "Woah, woah, woah! Wukong put your hands in the air!" Subcommander yelled aiming his scar at Wukong with Havoc next to him holding a scar as well.
          "Hey don't shoot! He's on our side now, Black Knight was mind controlling him!" Skull Trooper yelled jumping in front of Wukong.
          "You can trust me. I want to help get Love Ranger back." Wukong said. The five of them continued the walk to Dusty Depot and Havoc and Subcommander continued down to Lucky Landing to check it out.
Dusty Depot
          "So you're saying this weapon could revolutionize warfare?" Raptor asked after investigating it.
          "Not entirely, but it will help in the range where assault rifles are inefficient, but it is too close to use sniper rifles." Wukong said.
          "And what did you call it again?" Raptor asked.
          "A hunting rifle," Crimson Scout responded.
          "I'll go try and replicate and perfect it," Raptor said.
          "I thought you were the communications expert," Wukong said.
          "It's turning into a tech expert as well," Raptor said as he took the hunting rifle and left.
          "Where do we go for the time being?" Scarlet Defender asked.
          "You both can go back home for now," Wukong responded.
          "We are lucky to have you here Wukong, but what are we going to call that place?" Skull Trooper asked.
          "What about Lucky Landing?" Red Nosed Raider suggested.
          "I like that, Lucky Landing it is," Wukong said.
