Forza Horizon 4 Upcoming Seasonal Cars, Content, and Features

This article is going to be all about new features and content coming to Forza Horizon 4 before October 25th. Starting off with the schedule for the seasons, everyone will experience the season change on Thursdays at 7:30 AM Pacific / 10:30 AM Eastern / 3:30 GMT. There will be a timer at the top of the screen before it happens, followed by a cutscene transition, and then the next season will have begun. Everything will have changed immediately after the cutscene including the map, #Forzathon, and barnfinds.

First Time Players

The first 4 to 5 hours of gameplay is a prologue, once completed, you will be synced into the open, dynamic world. The first 10 minutes is very similar to the E3 Demo, except there is no choice of cars for the beginning portion, players are set into the McLaren Senna. These 10 minutes give you a quick feel for each of the seasons and how driving is impacted.

After that is completed, players move to the "Horizon Life Prologue," in which you spend a full year doing what ever you'd like to progress through the seasons and qualifying for the Horizon Roster. Around 1 hour into gameplay, after the first Autumn Prologue event, Drivatars are replaced with real players and Online Mode becomes available. Every player in your session at this point are at the same amount of completion of the prologue.

Depending on how fast you play, you will qualify for the Horizon Roster, typically between 4 and 5 hours into the game. Once you qualify, you earn your first wristband, you will be in your second Summer at Horizon, and you will enter a fully synchronized world where seasons change on a weekly basis.
