Chapter 2 - The People vs. Ghoul Troopers - A Fortnite Story
This is a fan-made Fortnite Battle Royale story in which I do not own any of the characters or anything used in the story. This is Chapter 2 of that story. Hope you enjoy it! The first paragraph gives background as to what happened previously.

The People vs. Ghoul Troopers
Setting: Late Season One/Early Season 2 | Pleasant Park and the area surrounding
The 21 Skull Troopers were gliding across the map aimed towards Pleasant Park. Below, Renegade Raiders sprinted across the terrain in order to get there as fast as possible. The Ghoul Troopers had already wreaked havoc on a majority of Pleasant Park, killing nearly all of the RRs and Aerial Assault Troopers stationed there. Outside if Pleasant Park, RRs have built up to wait for the support to come.
The GTs were at a disadvantage when it came to fighting, they were only equipped with assault rifles and limited ammo, but they also didn't know the terrain. The STs had the same disadvantages, but with the help of RRs and AATs, they had the upper hand going into battle.
"Branch off now!" The Purple Skull Trooper said into his earpiece. With that, three STs began drifting to the right toward the high ground north of Pleasant Park. Before they left Tomato Town, they were given bolt-action snipers. The STs had reached Pleasant Park and contacted the RRs that they were ready to move in. The RRs coming from Dusty Divot, Salty Springs, and Tomato Town weren't quite there yet but would be extra help if needed.
An AAT said into the earpiece, "Move into combat when ready." Multiple battle horns were heard, followed by yelling and the rush of nearly a two hundred RRs rushed into Pleasant Park, led by STs. The GTs attempted to put up a fight but immediately had to retreat towards the abandoned house.
"They're retreating!" One ST yelled in joy. "Keep applying pressure!" the PST responded.
"Grenade launchers ready!" A captain yelled, "Fire!" This was followed by a storm of grenades flooding the abandoned house the final GTs were hiding in. The few that made it out alive immediately surrendered, followed by cheers from the RRs and AATs after successfully putting down their first major threat to the island. However, Pleasant Park was left war-torn with building destroyed and windows shot out. The soccer field was ripped up, the gazebo had collapsed, multiple trees were down. One ST had perished.
There were 4 GTs left who had survived the barrage of grenades. The STs had put them on their knees in handcuffs in the center of the ruined soccer field.
The interrogations began. "Where is Red Knight?" the PST asked. They remained silent. "I said, where is RK!" the PST becoming angry now.
"We don't know!" One GT responded.
"He's your master who sent you here, you have to know!" One ST answered.
"I think you mean she" Another GT mumbled.
"Oh so you do know," the PST said in a slightly evil tone.
"Yea but we won't te..." The GT was interrupted by a temporary breach opening right on the GTs and pulling them back before quickly closing before anyone could say anything.
"Where'd they go?" The AAT Captain from Tomato Town asked.
"RK opened a breach and took them back before we could get any information, which means they'll be back in the future with more." the PST responded.
"But why us?" One RR called out from the remaining crowd that had thinned out.
"You're nowhere near the first place RK has terrorized, this is the closest we've ever gotten to finding his location, but we can expect him to come back so we have to be prepared." The PST now being the one interrogated.
"Can we contact Love Ranger for him to send more support?" The Captain asked.
"Green Skull Trooper is the only one with direct contact to LR so we'll have him get on that." The PST answered. Little did they know, Shadow Ops was watching from the mountain that separates Pleasant Park and Loot Lake. They didn't notice her until one of the STs saw the breach open and close with a bright flash. "Uh guys, we might have somebody that knows our plan now," the ST said nervously. To be continued.
